In 2016, I received a diploma with the rector’s award at the Faculty of Painting realized under the supervision of Professor Andrzej Rysiński. Since 2014, I am a graduate of artistic education in the field of plastic arts at the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Pedagogy. I was awarded at the 1st International Triennial Drawing of Students from Higher Art Schools in Katowice (2014) and in the BWA Kielce Contest “Przedwiośnie” (2016). I participated in post-competition exhibitions: Konfrontacja Sztuki (Art Confrontations) (Test Gallery), Biennale Młodych – Piękne Sztuki (Biennale of Youth – Beautiful Arts) (Radomsko), I MTRS, (Rondo Sztuki, Katowice), participation in Coming Out – Najlepsze Dyplomy (Best Diplomas) (townhouse of Count Raczyński) Obraz. Struktura. Przestrzeń. (Painting. Structure. Space.) (Działań Gallery) and others. Her individual exhibition was recently opened in the „Kotłownia” Gallery in Garwolin (September, 2017).
For me, painting is a search – not only from the formal side, but also from the existential side. The multilayered world of internal experiences becomes the inspiration for a world transposed to paintings. The boundary between reality and illusion is blurred. I connect wishes, desire to escape, joy or fears in a fanciful styling, creating an aura of understatement. Therefore, I give the viewer an opportunity to explore the painting and create a new history.
